Today we introduce Valentina, HR Management and QA & Executive Assistant, who shares with us her professional journey, what it means to work at Tecnosoft, and what motivates her every day.

How long have you been working at Tecnosoft and what do you do?
In September it will be 3 years! I’m responsible for Human Resources activities, Quality Management, and Executive Support. Quite a variety of areas: between people, procedures, and organization, there’s never a dull moment!

What does a typical day look for you?
Every day is different and there isn’t really a “typical day.” This variety allows me to have a broader view of how the company works. I often act as a link between people, processes, and objectives, handling both organizational and operational activities. I try to bring all these different aspects together in the simplest and most effective way possible, helping everyone move in the same direction.

Of all the activities you handle, which one requires the most energy and attention?
Instinctively, I would say Human Resources management. You need to find the right balance between different needs, expectations, and points of view, which can also change quickly, while being able to anticipate potential issues. Working with people requires listening skills, empathy, and adaptability, while at the same time maintaining the most objective approach possible. The biggest challenge is finding solutions that work both for people and for the organization’s needs.

What aspect of your work do you find most stimulating?
Definitely the cross-functional activities where it’s necessary to coordinate people, processes, and organization. They are the most stimulating because they require balancing different needs and priorities, often with different timelines and levels of urgency. It’s certainly a challenging part of the job, but also the one that gives you the most complete overview and where you can make a concrete contribution by finding solutions that truly work in practice.

How important is coordination with different departments?
It’s a key element. Alignment between colleagues and departments helps avoid misunderstandings and reduces errors or duplicated activities. Regular communication makes it easier to know the status of ongoing activities, coordinate timelines, and eventually find shared solutions.

Is there any activity outside of work that helps you unwind and recharge?
Absolutely! I enjoy sports in general, they help me clear my mind and disconnect. I also like trying different sports, and every year I try to take up a new one!
